🔝 European Form Rankings: Top 20 by Points‑Per‑Game

Supercomputer Reveals New Champions League Favorites

With the 2025/26 season in full swing, Transfermarkt has ranked the top 20 clubs across Europe’s top five leagues — Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 — using points-per-game (ppg) to level the playing field between leagues with different match counts.

While the Champions League format is evolving and domestic standards varying, comparing Europe’s elite isn’t easy. To level the field, Scooria presents a weekly ranking of the top 20 clubs across the Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1 — based on points‑per‑game (PPG).

Bayern Munich lead the pack with a dominant 2.73 PPG and a staggering +44 goal difference. Barcelona follow with 2.58 PPG, ahead of Real Madrid (2.37), Lens (2.35), and Arsenal (2.33). Inter Milan match Arsenal’s PPG but trail on goal difference.

The top 10 also features PSG, Villarreal, AC Milan, and Borussia Dortmund, while Manchester City and Aston Villa are the only other Premier League sides in the top 20.

LaLiga dominates the top eight with three clubs, while Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich continue to set the pace. With Champions League format changes adding complexity, this weekly ranking offers a clearer snapshot of current elite form across Europe.
